Veterinary Receptionist

Sheffield Veterinary Hospital is looking to add a full-time Veterinary Receptionist to our front desk team.

Our Veterinary Receptionists are the face of our practice. This role plays in important part in our community reputation and in supporting our clients and patients by providing great customer service.

Daily responsibilities include:

  • Managing multiple phone lines
  • Booking appointments
  • Greeting clients
  • Processing payments
  • Ensuring that the reception area is clean and comfortable for clients.

This is a full-time position with a flexible schedule however, rotating evening and Saturday shifts will be required. A love of animals and a customer service background is a great fit for this position.

Registered Veterinary Technician

As an experienced veterinary technician, you already know what it takes to be a successful veterinary professional. Some of the key skills that we are looking for with this particular opportunity include:

  • Vaccine knowledge
  • Preventative care knowledge
  • Medication dispensing and administering
  • Obtaining a complete patient history and maintaining treatment records
  • Pharmacology calculations
  • Surgical experience (prep, monitoring, recovery, etc.)
  • Venepuncture and IV catheter placement

This is a full-time position for a licensed veterinary technician

Veterinary Assistant

Sheffield Veterinary Hospital is looking to add friendly and dedicated Veterinary Assistant to our welcoming hospital team.

The position plays an integral role in providing excellent care to our patients as well as providing outstanding customer service to our clients.

We are looking for individuals with a background in:

  • Customer service
  • Veterinary care or kennel work
  • Teamwork

This is a full-time position with a flexible schedule – though rotating Saturday shifts will be required. Responsibilities include taking phone calls,greeting clients, assisting the veterinarians, pharmacy duties, and more.
