Doggie Day Care

Why leave your dog alone at home all day? Let them join our Daycare play pals and other dogs for a romp and exercise filled day at Sheffield Veterinary Hospital!

Where tails wag, friendships form, and your pup comes home happily tired.

At Sheffield Veterinary Hospital, we know your dog isn’t just a pet, they’re family. Our doggie daycare gives your pup a safe, engaging place to play, socialize, and relax while you’re busy so you can head home to a happy, well-exercised companion.

What makes our daycare special? We’re more than just daycare, we’re a veterinary team. That means your dog is supervised by trained professionals who understand behavior, health, and safety. You can feel confident knowing your pup is in experienced, caring hands every step of the day.

Your dog’s day includes:

  • Supervised playgroups based on size and personality

  • Enrichment activities to keep minds active

  • Safe, clean indoor and outdoor spaces

  • Rest breaks for naps and recharging

  • Plenty of love, attention, and belly rubs

A day in the life
Drop-off is between 8:00–9:00 AM, when the excitement (and zoomies) begin! Throughout the day, dogs enjoy a balance of playtime and rest, with plenty of supervision and care. Pick-up is anytime before 5:30 PM, so you can grab your pup when it works best for your schedule.

Who can join the fun?
To keep all of our guests safe and happy, daycare participants must:

  • Be 6 months of age or older

  • Be spayed or neutered

  • Be friendly, non-aggressive, and not food or toy protective

  • Be flea-free (Must have proof of flea prevention)

  • Have a current negative fecal test

  • Be up to date on vaccinations, including:

    • Rabies

    • Distemper/Parvo

    • Leptospirosis

    • Bordetella (kennel cough)

Proof of current vaccines and fecal testing is required prior to scheduling.

Not a social butterfly? That’s okay.
Not every dog loves group play and that’s perfectly fine. For pups who prefer their own space, we offer one-on-one personal attention and playtime, so they still get exercise, enrichment, and lots of human interaction.

Pricing

  • Full Day: $30

  • Half Day (4 hours or less): $15

Ready to get started?
A meet and greet is a great way to introduce your furry friend to daycare. Your pup joins our daycare attendants in evaluation to observe how they react when away from their pet parent. Most dogs do great, but sometimes they might not be quite ready for doggy daycare. We will help you assess their comfort level.

Give us a call to schedule your pup’s visit, we can’t wait to meet them!
