Welcome to Sheffield Veterinary Hospital! For more than 80 years, we have been a trusted part of the London community, caring for generations of dogs, cats, and the families who love them. Since opening our doors in 1942, our goal has remained the same: to provide compassionate, high-quality veterinary care while treating every pet as if they were our own. 

We understand that your pet is an important member of your family, and choosing a veterinary team you can trust is an important decision. Our team is committed to building lasting relationships by taking the time to listen, educate, and develop personalized care plans tailored to each pet's unique needs.

As a small animal general practice, we proudly care for dogs and cats throughout every stage of life- from routine wellness visits and preventive care to diagnostics, surgery, dentistry, and sick visits. We are continually working to improve access to veterinary medicine in our community by providing thoughtful, compassionate care and helping families find options that best support your pets’ health and wellbeing. 

Your pet’s comfort is important to us. All of our team members have completed specialized training and earned certifications in Fear Free®, Low Stress Handling®, and/or Feline Friendly Care. These approaches allow us to provide gentle, patient-centered care that helps minimize stress and create a more positive experience for pets and their people.
